Emily Bernhardt Receives Humboldt Foundation Research Prize

Germany's Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has awarded a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Prize to Professor Emily Bernhardt in recognition of her research achievements and in support of current and future research collaborations in Germany. Professor Bernhardt has also been elected the President of the Society for Freshwater Science. Founded in 1953, the Society for Freshwater Science is an international scientific organization whose purpose is to promote further understanding of freshwater ecosystems.
