Microbial cell structure, function, growth, genetics, metabolism, evolution, and ecology. Study of disease, infection, and immunology. Introduction to virology. Recommended for many pre-health programs. Recommended prerequisite: one course in a biological science. Not open to students who have taken Biology 212.
