Gene-Environment Interaction: Genes in an Ecological Context
BIOLOGY 453S
Seminar on genotype-environment interaction. Topics include the evolution and adaptive value of environment-dependent phenotypes (phenotypic plasticity), ecological consequences of genotype-environment interaction, molecular mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity, and how genotype-environment interaction pertains to outstanding debates in evolutionary biology and genetics. Prerequisite: Biology 202L or 203L. Recommended Prerequisite: Biology 201L and one additional course in Biology.
