How has being a Biology graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"The field experiences at Duke from the Marine Lab to the Duke Forest allowed me to explore ecological concepts outdoors and ignite my passion for studying the interactions between organisms. The many female professors I had were also inspiring role models."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Biology programs? 

"Explore different courses outside of what you think you are interested in! Engage with the local Durham community and go out beyond campus to appreciate the NC environment."
