The Dean of the Graduate School will give the 2016 Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring to Prof. Sonke Johnsen. Congratulations to Sonke! The award recognizes faculty who promote successful completion of their students' programs, ensure that students fully master their discipline, create a supportive environment and maintain open lines of communication, and model excellence in research and teaching.  Nominations are made by current and former graduate students, and they should know who's the best!
