Huffington Post contributor Sonia Thompson highlighted Sherryl Broverman's work with WISER (Women's Institute of Secondary Education and Research) in an article entitled "What if You Were Brave? Here are Three Ways Life Could Be Different." Sherryl is the first example of someone who took a blind leap into the unknown, founding a school for girls in Muhuru Bay, Kenya and an NGO to fund it. WISER has increased the number of Muhuru girls who pass the national primary school exam by 250%. Here's hoping this draws more attention to Sherryl's work.
