Monitoring and Restoring Gene Flow

The Monitoring and Restoring Gene Flow in the Increasingly Fragmented Ecosystems of the Anthropocene Special Feature brings together research from across the speciation genomics and conservation biology communities to address the pressing challenges of anthropogenic habitat fragmentation and biodiversity loss. Uniting insights from evolutionary theory, developing genomic technologies, and applied conservation action, the authors in this collection examine how gene flow can be effectively monitored, maintained, and restored to promote functional and resilient ecosystems in the Anthropocene.
