Patrick Green and Eleanor Caves Win Funding for Science Education

Patrick Green and Eleanor Caves, together with EOS student Rebecca Lauzon, have won funding for their project, "A STEM Researcher-Educator Network to Improve K-12 Science Literacy." In the coming year they will manage a network of Duke graduate students who will create lesson plans based on current research and distribute them to local K-12 educators. Duke Support for Interdisciplinary Graduate Networks (D-SIGN) is a new funding mechanism which promotes interdisciplinary work by graduate students.

Well done, Patrick and Eleanor! Very public-spirited!
