Carroll will talk about how anyone can get-or at least share-in those thrills. Sean B. Carroll is Vice President for Science Education at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Professor of Biology at the University of Maryland. His books include: Endless Forms Most Beautiful: The New Science of Evo Devo and the Making of the Animal Kingdom; The Serengeti Rules: The Quest to Discover How Life Works and Why It Matters; and Brave Genius: A Scientist, a Philosopher, and Their Daring Adventures from the French Resistance to the Nobel Prize. Please note that this Periodic Tables will be held on a Thursday instead of our usual Tuesday and we'll be starting 30 minutes later. This event will be FREE to attend! We're waiving the $5 cover charge.
