A two year postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Biology at Duke University to study the effects of genetic variation on regulatory networks in yeast.
We seek a highly-motivated postdoctoral research associate who has the ability to utilize a combination of genetic and functional genomic experimental approaches to further our understanding of how variation in gene networks contributes to variation in cellular phenotypes. Prior experience in the application of techniques such as gene knockouts and microarray methods in budding yeast or related fungi is required.
To apply for this position please send a cover letter, CV and the names and contact information for three references to: Dr. Paul Magwene, Department of Biology, Duke University, P.O. Box 90338, Durham, NC 27708. You may also email this information to paul.magwene@duke.edu.
