Post-doctoral position - Silva Lab

A post-doctoral research position is available in Dr. Gustavo Silva’s laboratory at Duke University ( The prospective candidate will develop research focused on understanding the role of protein ubiquitination and protein dynamics during cellular response to stress. The lab uses a combination of molecular and large scale approaches, including mass spectrometry-based proteomics and next generation sequencing, to elucidate signaling pathways in yeast and mammalian cells.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with strong expertise in molecular cloning, protein engineering, and yeast genetics to fulfill this position. Additional experience in proteomics, genomics, and/or computational biology will be favored and is desirable, but not a requirement. Communication and interpersonal skills are valued in order to work in a young, dynamic, diverse, and collaborative environment.
