San
Luis Potosí City is the Capital of the State of
San Luis Potosi, located 424 km from Mexico City. The city dates
from the late 1500s when it was established as a mining settlement.
Today is is a sprawling city with more than half a million residents.
While largely an industrial town, it has a well-preserved colonial

Localización
San Luis Potosí es la capital del Estado del
mismo nombre, la cual se localiza a 424 Km. de la Ciudad de México.
La ciudad fue fundada a finales de los 1500s cuando se estableció como
una posta minera. Actualmente la Cd. de San Luis Potosí se
encuentra en rápida expansión con más de medio
millón de habitantes.
Aunque la ciudad es principalmente industrial, aun mantiene un
distrito colonia en el centro de la ciudad muy bien conservado.

Air Travel/Vuelos
Participants arriving by air will fly into the San Luis Potosí airport (SLP). All air travel reservations

All tickets will be pre-paid by IPICYT/Todos los boletos serán
prepagados por IPICYT.
Ground Transportation/Transporte terrestre
Ground transportation to/from the San Luis Potosí airport
to/from Hotel Real Plaza will be arranged. A schedule will be announced
once all flights are confirmed. If you drive to San Luis Potosí,
you will be reimbursed based on standard mileage allowances.
El transporte terrestre de/hacia el aeropuerto de la ciudad al Hotel
Real Plaza será arreglado por los organizadores. Un programa de
transporte se anunciará una vez que todos los vuelos estén
confirmados. Para aquellos participantes que lleguen por carretera, se
les retornarán los costos de acuerdo a las tarifas estándares.
